With a stretch of freshwater lakes, Burni Kelieten is one of the most interesting climbing destinations to climb. The initial path of climbing straight up still keep pesoma its own. The path is a little extreme with a slope of 60-70 degrees to make the climber must be extra careful. Normally travel time from the last village to the summit Burni Kelieten (2930 Mdpl) 8 hours to one day trip. During the journey, there are several shelters or post for resting or camping.

Burni Kelietan cluster of hills south of Takengon, Central Aceh as if firmly hugging the lake Lot Tawar while spewing thousands of cubic water source of life. Nature is always in synergy to maintain balance. If there is no lake then no cold water vapor falls into the hills, a blessing for all living things there. If the hillside is not steep then the water will not fall into the lake.
