In the Dolomites, I Wish I Could Trade Spring With You
In the Dolomites, I Wish I Could Trade Spring With You
These photos are part of a collection of spring landscapes I captured during six different trips to the Dolomites over the years. I’ve photographed the Dolomites in many different seasons, but the ones that stay with me the most are always autumn and early spring. In spring, the mountains are covered with wildflowers and fresh shades of green everywhere you look.
Spring arrives surprisingly late in the Dolomites. Often, it isn’t until June that the high mountains truly come alive with energy and color. And maybe that’s exactly what makes spring here feel so special — it comes late, lasts briefly, and feels incredibly precious because of it.
