HAhaha, I don't think I will have to worry about sleeping under a bridge, and the food is supposed to be pretty cheap compared to Finland. I think I will be distracted with all the amazing places and by the inevitable culture shock, to worry too much about the price of Steem currently.

Staying in Central America is not expensive, the getting to and from is the biggest cost in that. I'm afraid I will fall in love with that side of the world...
Yeah, I think if you're lucky, you can find a flight for 250€. That's at least what my Honduran friend managed to do. Another idea is to try to get on a cruise ship that crosses the Atlantic. Or you can always just hitchhike through Siberia and come to America from the other side via Alaska.
