Travel Blog - Corfu Holiday | Part 1
Last time I wrote about our trip to the Danube Delta and I noticed that one post was not enough to get all the photos and details together. So, this time it will be a blog split into multiple parts. How many? I really don't know. But we will see. I really hope that I will be able to write one part per day.
This Series is going to be really fun because even though we stayed in Corfu, we had few cruises and one-day trips to beautiful places like Blue Lagoon or Achilleion.
We left by bus our home town - Bucharest and we were ready for the 16 hours ride to Agios Gordios, Corfu - the place we had our room.
Here is the bus we've been boarded to.
It even had a small TV where we've seen several times the same movies.
Down the road we stopped in Bulgaria, where we enjoyed the delicious sandwiches that my girlfriend made from home.
Nothing fancy on the road, just few breaks to go to the toilet and eat.
After a long 15 hours road, we've arrived to the ferry. We were so excited that we were almost there. We could already felt the fresh air of the Mediterranean Sea and imagine the beautiful beaches.
As the ferry was parking on the side of the island, this was the water color that we saw. Probably the greenest water I've ever seen. Beautiful.
From the ferry we took the same bus for an 1 our road to Agios Gordios. Another fact we love about Greece is the fact that you have see on a side and the mountains on the other. So, as we were going down the mountains, this beautiful view appeared in the windows.
