Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @ritxi:

Pravčická Gate is actually the biggest natural arch in whole Europe. It is the symbol of northern-west region of Czech Republic, called National Park Czech Switzerland. The arch is 16 meters high and 8m wide with the minimum thickness 3 meters. If you never been there, you must go! Ahoj!

Territory of the Troy Castle. Beautiful and the castle itself and a view of the garden. In the garden there is something to see. There is a labyrinth with neatly cropped bushes. Very nice place for a walk. This district, called Troy, which is called so because of the castle, is generally very noteworthy, although it can be said that if not on the outskirts of the city, then not very close to the center of Prague .

What a great place to hang out on the warm Spring day. I think it is often fairly over-looked and does not get the attention it deserved. Let's give it a little boost by making it a main entry to today's challenge. Tomas

Prague Public House - the building is located on the Republic Square. It was built in 1912 on the site of the old royal palace. The famous Czech artist Alfons Mukha was engaged in painting the interiors. Currently, there are numerous concerts.

Spring has officially found its way to Prague. This photo of the Podvinni Park is just a few minutes old, showing the current nice weather in the Czech capital. The Podvinni Park is a relatively unknown, yet beautiful public park found between Prague Liben and Prague Vysocany.

You probably posted the freshest entry in the whole contest. I want to bring the family and visit Prague so bad. I have learned so much about it from Tomas' posts about the Czech Republic. I will know all the cool places to visit when I get there.

Welcome back home! The best time to arrive. I absolutely love spring!

Thanks! Just returned from a little photo-tour around Karlin to get some fresh material for the contest :) Spring is indeed a great season to be in Prague. Too bad this part of the year always comes with all those allergies :D :(

Thanks for welcoming back yesterday. I feel special that you noticed I was gone. Depression is a hell of a drug.

This is a picture of a random bench I found while my friend and I were exploring one really wet day. This may have been the day we got lost. I dont remember forsure. Anyhow, I really like the bokeh that came out of it, I think it makes the picture.

Thank you for your entry. I hope all is better now.

In the center of Brno, almost in a secret way, it is possible to visit one of the favorite spots of both locals and visitors: the park Denisovy sady. It is the oldest public park not only in Brno, but in the whole of the Czech Republic, with an access date in 1771. In the image, the central obelisk dedicated to Emperor František I.

Prague. A water channel "Certovka" is located near Charles Bridge. Ships are not driving in the canal. Around it is Kampa Island. Many people in love come here and love the romance of the old town. They hang their love locks on the railing.

muzeum strašidel is amazing place. It is a pleasant celebration mainly in the evening, counting and seeing some figures from old Prague, the exhibition itself is sympathetically conceived in cellars with visors into "ghost" rooms, including sound production to deliver authenticity.

On The Palacky Square, opposite The Palacky Bridge, features the monument of František Palacký. Do you know him?
If you have ever been in the Czech Republic, yes. And you do not even know about it ... This is the face from a thousand crowns bank-note!
This man determined Czech politics between 1848 and 1876... And indeed, Czech history from the earliest times to the 16th century.
Before becoming a respected leader of Czech politics, he was the first modern Czech historian.
And if you do not know it, 9 from 10 Czechs do not know it too. It's been so long ago ...
Only the monument remained.

View of the beautiful and elegant restaurant Staropramen in the waters of the river Vltava and in the background the Charles Bridge can be seen. When my wife and I stopped by the restaurant we thought it was very expensive, but they had a list of the prices outside and we found them very accessible, we decided to enter the boat when we ate and it was a very pleasant experience, I recommend them.

On 30 May 1434, a battle between the two Hussite factions took place south of the village of Lipany. Today, there is a battle memorial here. This memorial lies near road number 12 leading from Prague to Kolín. Since it is on a hill in a fairly equal landscape, there is a wonderful view of the surroundings.
