Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:

The city of Karlovy Vary itself is relatively small, and the old part of the city located on both banks of the Tepla river is mainly known to tourists. This is a city, a fairy tale. It's all very quiet, no fuss. I think you will want to come back here again and again. Here you rest from the metropolis. And time stops here. Here you will not miss the architecture of the 19th century. Also during the tour we were shown the famous colonnades with mineral springs. Water was allowed to try and even take with you. We also saw Virgilo (Geyser), the flow of water reaches 15 meters in height! In general, a lot of impressions. It seems that time has moved you back and forgot to pick it up! The streets are spacious, wide. I advise everyone!

This is my image today ... The Charles Bridge and the rooftops of the city seen from the top of Prague Castle. In the distance you can also see how vantage bridges adorn the river Moldava. The Charles Bridge is the tourist image of Prague, it is like being in a beautifully enchanted area with the tower on one side and the castle path on the other side. All tourists always want to be there.

That sure is a stunning view that will never get boring. Great entry to be featured in today's edition. Have a pleasant day. Tomas

Thank you Tomas, I am very pleased and encourages me to continue participating.

Beautiful natural surroundings of the Silver Lake in Opava reflected on the water surface. The lake used to be a gypsum quarry that got flooded by the nearby River Opava in 1964. Soon after the quarry got filled with water, the place became a popular relaxation area for residents of the region and even international visitors from Poland as Opava is located very close to the Czech-Polish border.

This atmospheric impression has been taken around this time of year a few ones ago in my favorite Czech village ˋKonárovice´ about sixty miles outside of Prague ~ a certain amount of the so enticing ˋspooky´ tree formations in the background are unfortunately no longer existing presently... so all the more glad I am for this photograph as beloved remembrance ~ ⭐️ ~
Due to the extraordinary dry summer this year our ˋbig yellow flowers´ that are so splendidly displayed here have been quite stunted as well... but who cares if everything that once has been is saved for forever within one’s heart in any case...! I say with a little bit of an ironic smirk :)

The Library halls are beautiful architectural gems. But they can only be enjoyed from the corridors.
The entrance fee is paid only in cash. Additionally, if you want to take photos, you have to pay another fee. The visit is really short, but it is worth it. They are closed for an hour at lunch time, so if you go a little before 1 pm, just before they re-open, then you will be among the first to enter and will be able to better enjoy and appreciate the interior.

Jurkovič's villa is located in Brno-Žabovřesky. It was built at the foot of the Wilsons forest, just opposite the Rosnička restaurant. Architect Dušan Jurkovič designed this villa in Art Nouveau style at the beginning of the 20th century, built in 1906. This location was chosen by the architect's love for nature. If you visit it, try the Rosnička restaurant also.
Ahoj!

Church of St. John and St.Paul, Krteň, Central Bohemia, near Prag

Approaching November 2nd. Cemeteries must be visited, graves must be repaired, wreaths laid and candles lit. I drove my mother-in-law.
This church "remembers" the 13th century. The statue in the foreground is baroque. But she is so broken that I do not know who she is.
The weather is autumn, typical halloween ...

Waking up the first day of 2008 in Olomouc and taking a look through the window of the Hostel where we stayed was really beautiful. Olomouc's Old Town with St. Wenceslas Cathedral dominating it is one of the nicest places where I have been.

This autumn we toured South Bohemia which is a beautiful region rich in gentle landscapes of hills, lakes and forests. Here we visited small towns with characteristic houses with painted or graffito façades or ending with the typical baroque tympanum shape. The colors and decorations are very refined. Among the most beautiful is Cesky Krumlov with its castle Hospitality is good and tasty cuisine.

Most Karlovy Vary visitors does not visit this place but the tower is charming actually. Fresh air, free entrance and whole city view. You have to options to reach the tower. Either you can ride with funicular or you can walk. I suggest both of them (:
