Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @peroo:

The church of St. Nicholas in Malá Strana, in Romanesque style, rebuilt according to the baroque dictates is one of the first religious buildings in the city and a magnificent example of Bohemian baroque. Some rococo shades make it even more valuable and magnificent. The interiors are wonderful and the fresco that dominates the nave is fantastic.

I rewarded @peroo entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

The photo is absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations!!

Although my entry is not the most picturesque - I decided to share it because it depicts an important aspect to trip in the Czech Republic. It was not only about architecture and historical building but also a chance to sample local traditional food.

The photo shows a meal which I ate at Czech friend's home when I visited them during winter last year. The dish is called svíčková na smetaně. I cannot pronounce but I can describe the meal. It is steak served with a sauce of root vegetables like carrots and celeriac with a variety of spices, slices of bread dumpling, a bit of whipped cream topped with a slice of lemon and cranberry jam. I understood that this is a popular dish.

It was a very tasty dish although not a big hit with one of my daughters. She liked the dumpling but not the vegetable sauce.

I was told that it is a popular dish. Although I had been twice to the Czech Republic I had tried other traditional food but not this one.

Awww, svíčková!!! One of my very favorite dishes! I miss it sooo much here in Mexico :) Brilliant shot. Just too few dumpling slices for me, I usually have 10 or more of them :D

IT’S A CREAMY NATIONAL TREASURE #classy

Night shot of National Theater in Prague taken from across the Vltava River. One of the most iconic buildings in the city, the National Theater is known as the alma mater of Czech opera and as the national monument and symbol of Czech history and art.

Stunning panoramic view of the complex of the Prague Castle and a part of the historic center of the city. You can also see a lot of the red roofs in the photo, another famous landmark of the Czech capital.

In Central Europe is usual to have street markets for the time of Easter. The photo shows a kiosk in a Easter Market at Old Town Square. At the background of the image you can see the magnificent Gothic towers of Church of Our Lady before Týn.

After crossing the magnificent Charles Bridge you are immediately greeted by the stunning Church Of St Salvator ( Kostel Svatého Salvátora) which is one of two churches that form the Klementinum, which form the largest and most historic complex of buildings in Old Town Prague.

The weather which had been quite springlike already is getting colder and gloomier again - as it usually loves to do around Easter...! ~ In accordance with this changing atmosphere here is an impression of a mysterious little graveyard between Prague & my original hometown in Lower Austria which has been a favorite stop when traveling between these two locations ~ I was so free and added some artistic touch to the image since I am most fond of creation in every possible way :)

St Bartholomew's Cathedral
This cathedral has such beautiful tall stained glass windows, casting colourful light from winter's low sun. The entrance has a large iron gate restricting access. Yet, one can see the great carved wooden pews, ornate pulpit, altar and most of the interior. In comparison the external stonework is simply fashioned.
The tower is great. The very clear n obvious fire sprinkler system gives one confidence while climbing the steep wooden stair well.

Cesky Krumlov
What a beautiful place. Very atmospheric and it is impossible to take a bad photograph - there's a surprise around every corner. Just wander where your feet take you - so many lovely little streets and riverside cafes. Beware the inconsiderate selfie-takers - totally unaware of their surroundings they will just stop in front of you without warning!

We did visit the Jewish cemetery, which was a very impressive moment during our short stay in Prague. It allowed us to make a personal search for missing relatives in extermination camps based in Czech Republic. Former Czechoslovakia Very moving moment that brings us back to a certain reality that man is capable of the worst as well as the best. A must see.

when you come back to the old town, you change your mood, all the buildings are beautiful, you might think that it 's the one that would impress your neighbor the most with monumental decorations, statues, drawings, arabesques, but it' s beautiful. It's always very clean but there are always pavers. There are many typical shops and also many European or international brands. We must sort. The place is very beautiful and we stop every hour to see the astronomical clock ring or death and life are distinguished to make it ring.
