Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Uluru at Sunset. When I travelled in Australia, I had never planned on visiting the red centre, but since I found a ride share headed there, I joined in. I had no expectations, but seeing this huge rock was just incredible! The colours at sunset are simply stunning.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

The area between the skytrain stations Siam and Phrom Pong is Bangkok's shopping hotspot. Central World, Siam Paragon or Termial 21 are the names of the gigantic shopping malls where you can easily spend whole days. This is the evening view from the top floor of the luxurious Emquartier.

Near the largest southern city of New Zealand - Christchurch you can visit Akaroa. Small town where you can find rare Hector's dolphins swim on the Akaroa Beach, the eastern shore of Akaroa Harbour.
Brisbane, Australia is where I call home, or Boomtown as we call it. As it is a very fast growing city, the skyline always features cranes building new buildings. This photo I took from Mt Coot-tha look out, which gives a great veiw of our little big city.
WA, Karijini National Park,
WA is full of unexpected surprises. One has to manage very long distances but the trips are worth while considering these National Parks located in very remote places. One of the is Karijini. Beautiful gorges, formed over millions of years. Breathtaking scenery, great hikes, camp grounds the full package.
Tidal River, Wilsons Promontory Nationalpark
This River in Victoria, Australia runs past the only Camping Ground in the National Park and flows into the Bass Strait. It also is a good place to spot Wombats at dawn.
Bautiful Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. This little town is famous among adventurers all around the world. You can do so many adrenaline stuff from bungee jumping, skydiving, snowboarding, etc. It's just hard to not fall in love with this town :)
Brisbane is weird. On the Brisbane river, you can see all sort of boat. The citycat, for public transport, vintage paddle steamers for tourist and some sort of raft all together within the modern city centre.
Picton, New Zealand
When crossing from the North Island to the South Island, I was greeted by this picturesque panorama. Before reaching the friendly town Picton on the Marlborough Sound, the ferry passes impressive landscapes.

Viewed from St Kilda, Melbourne city shine as the sun is setting down. The sky turns vanilla and the water blue which really make a great melting of colours.
Boats are floating and building reflecting the last rays of light.

Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas are not far from Uluru. This collection of dome shaped rocks are spiritually important to the Anangu people who have inhabited the local area for over 22,00 years.
