On the top we can stop by visitors center and a steel walkways with great viewpoints on the whole road and the valley - seen on the photo. Next to the road we can see big waterfall Stigfossen by the old, stone bridge. One of those places where we can see real dramatic landscape of beautiful Norway.

I haven't submitted in the daily photo contest for ages but I'm finally back! For my first European entry in over a month, I'm submitting one from the beautiful mountains in Switzerland. This is just above the very small town to Reuti, in the region of Interlaken. There are tons of hiking trails here open in the summer to give a great workout along with an incredible view!

Great to have you back. Amazing entry as always.

What a nature! Stunning.

HOPP SCHWEIZ.

Panoramic view of the historical center of Nice. Home to almost 350,000 people, Nice is the fifth largest city in France and the capital of the Alpes-Maritimes Region. Known for sunny and warm climate for the most part of the year, it is located on the famous French Riviera, a popular tourist destination in Southern France.

What a beautiful views

This is another photo of Civita di Bagnoregio, the dying city, or the Jewel on the Hill as described by Rick Steve. This place used to be a bustling town during the Medieval times, and apparently used to be much bigger. Unfortunately erosion and earthquake means that the hill started to shrink in size, buildings fell of the cliff and people started to move away. Nowadays it is mainly a tourist attraction. The permanent population at Civita is only about a 100 in summer and can drop to a mere 7 during winter.

This is an epic shot. Amazing job.

That is out of this world! Truly amazing.

Plitvice Lakes, Croatia

When I first saw this motive in a tourism brochure, I thought that it must have been taken with a drone. I was really surprised when I visited the Plitvice Lakes myself and found myself looking down at this view!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Nice shot man :) Was there 2 years ago, stunning location!

The Plitvice Lakes are incredible, but sadly overrun by tourists. I had a hard time getting some good shots while jammed in between bus loads of pensioners :D

This is a beautiful colour palette! The water feels magical!

Thanks! The colours were so beautiful!

What a fabulous image and place.

Mirador De Morro Velosa

That is the name of the cafe from where I took this shot on Fuerteventura. It is in the middle of the Rural Park Betancuria, a National park on the westside of the island.

Thank you so much for your submission!

thanks for the contest! 👍

I managed to capture this nice sunset-shot at a beach in Mykonos Town, Greece when I was on vacation with some friends two weeks ago. The sailing ship just had a perfect timing and it looks as if it is going right into the sun!

Bay of Kotor
Probably the most famous landmark of Montenegro is the Bay of Kotor, which is also called Europe’s southernmost fjord. Kotor has a very nice historical center and a mountain, which is worth climbing up ;)

wow what a beautiful scenery!

Yes it definately is. I love the combination of mountains direct by the sea.

I just love that place.

Incredible Architecture: A stone bridge built between rock pillars. A sandstone masterpiece that connected this popular viewpoint with an easier accessible track. It used to be a wooden Bridge which then in 1850 was redesigned. A landscape photographers hot-spot. If you are in the area, try to be up there an hour before sunrise and fight for you spot among dozens of tripods. Bring some coffee and make a lot of new professional friends. Thanks so much. This place rocks!!

Your shots are always so awesome. Very well done.

Thank you! Appreciate the comment!

Thank you! It's my favorite contest on Steemit. Always happy to find the perfect shot for this.

This photo was taken in Brig, Switzerland. It was taken when I was waiting at this transition point for the train to Italy. This view was discovered accidentally when I got bored and started wandering around the city.

Summer in Klaipeda, Lithuania maybe still hot, but not for a long period. Baltic Sea is generally pretty cold even summer. But very often though we have here stunning sunsets.

Here is the fine example of such warm and stunningly colourful sunset. The fishermen just came back from fishing and I have managed quickly to get the boat into the frame

Enjoy the scenery!
