The Tour de Vinde lighthouse on the coast of Jersey, Channel Islands. A beautiful place with clear, Mediterranean like seas during the summer. Jersey is a real island retreat that has so much history and culture to offer.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

@jpphotography Australian Monday entry:
Lambs in New Zealand. In New Zealand, sheep are everywhere! Large areas of land are used for cattle farming and having so much space and great views, it comes to no surprise that New Zealand lamb meat is an export hit.

Raw natural beauty of Sao Miguel, the largest island of the Azores. Situated some 1,360 km (850 mi) west of continental Portugal in the North Atlantic Ocean, the Azores are remote volcanic islands known for beautiful landscapes and pristine nature.
I think it was the first time I saw dolphins ever. It was back in 2007, In Tahiti. That moment was so cool. I was super happy to have dolphins following our boat.
Beach in Abel Tasman, New Zealand
The natural beauty of the South Island of New Zealand is incredible. This beautiful beach is located near the Abel Tasman National Park on the northern tip of the South Island.

Sometimes you spend your time trying to approach animals, and others times without know why, animals come to see you by themselves ! A nice and friendly meeting with a grouper from Porto Santo (Madeira Ilands)
Photo of a sunset over the Pacific Ocean at Antofagasta. In this city of Northern Chile there are beautiful sunsets however they are not very rich in colors. The day that I took this photo there was an unusual cloud formation that reflected the red colors quite nicely.
I am not a fan of cruises. Being confined on a boat at the mercy of the ocean without any control over anything, not for me. I've never done one and since I get sea sick easily, it will not be something I'll try soon. The closest I've done, a five-day Galapagos getaway on a luxury catamaran. This was very fun, even if I was sick the first day.
Caloundra in the sunshine coast in Queensland Australia has amazing beaches! This inlet is an awesome spot for a swim. The island on the other side of the water is Bribie Island. Definitely worth a visit when on the Sunshine Coast

It’s been a while since I’ve had time to jump on Steemit, so it’s nice to see that the day I do that my favourite category is still going. Here’s a shot from the Antarctic peninsula of a spectacular backdrop and some super moody clouds 😉
Thailand is just one of those countries you can never get enough of every year i go to Thailand i make it a mission to discover or search out those hidden gem beaches this one is Koh Phak Bia in the middle of the Andaman sea in Krabi another beautifully little island surrounded by lush greens and turquoise waters just a another little piece of beautiful heaven.
I have been to many islands in Thailand and they are beautiful in there own way but with Koh Mook and Koh Kradan they have managed to strike the right balance between making it an attractive spot for tourists and keeping the island relatively unspoiled.
