Chocolate Shots at Cioccolata e Vino in Rome, Italy!
For some reason, I thought about my trip to Italy in 2014 earlier today and remembered this amazing place my husband took me to in Rome called Cioccolata e Vino where you can take chocolate shots. The shot "glasses" are made of chocolate and you could ask them to fill them with your choice of liquor as well as top it off with whip cream or any other add on you'd like (ex: chocolate chip, sprinkles, cinnamon etc). They are delicious edible shots!
Cioccolata e Vino is located in the Trastevere neighborhood a neighborhood known for having many restaurants and bars. Great for a night out! It was a little difficult to find for us, but if you ask around, Italians are more than willing to help with directions.

The barista was so nice and explained how the shots were to be taken. She made our experience there a really fun one. We went with my parents and we couldn't help but laugh as they kept asking her questions and telling her what they wanted in their shots. That was the first time they had ever done something like that.

The shots they have on their menu have very naughty names, but they are oh so yummy! Most shots are €3.00 EUR (about $3.50 USD), but they have ones that are a little more. If you are in Rome and want to have a good time with friends you won't regret visiting this place.

I'm craving these as I type! I wish we had a place like this in Tampa Bay. Maybe we do and I just don't know about it. If you know somewhere like this in the Tampa Bay Area please let us know, so we can go try it out! :)

I'm confused haha what exactly were the shots? Was it actual chocolate or like chocolate liquor? Either way sounds great, good idea for bar/restaurant.
Good question! I'll update the post. The chocolate shooter cups are made of chocolate and the barista would pour whatever liquor you'd like in the chocolate cup and top it with whip cream and whatever else you'd want. You get to eat/drink the whole thing like I'm doing in the gif above. Yes, we think it's a great idea for sure!
