Travel: Sri Maha Mariamman Temple (Silom Rd., Bang Rak, Bangkok, Thailand)
Also known as Maha Uma Devi Temple or Wat Khaek( meaning Indian temple) is Tamil Hindu temple in Thailand. In 1858 many Tamil Nadu Indians came to Thailand and built this temple around a decade after they arrived.
(Outside the temple you can find these colorful garlands and offerings)
I visited this temple on my very first Bangkok trip. It was a great experience. I loved the smell of the incense sticks and the sound of the mantras that was present everywhere.

Yes, very beautiful inside. However, it wasn't allowed to take pictures.
