So, we are on a tour of the beaches of South Goa. Now we hang out on the famous Palolem beach. This is a small trendy beach in the south of Goa. It is believed that the south of Goa is more decent, there are fewer freaks and better service. Most often, the attendants are not Indians, but guys from Nepal. They are smarter and more polite. Palolem is a typical Indian beach with fishing boats, red sand and palm trees. But Palolem is very different from other beaches. Here you can swim in calm water and almost no waves. And there are many bright multi-colored bungalows stuck here. Dense buildings all over the beach. The beach is busy, there are a lot of people, but no one sits on each other's heads. Great place for photo shoots! Wooden fishing boats only increase the degree of exoticism!

We were lucky and almost all the boats that day remained on the shore. Holiday Holi, Indians have forgotten about the boat business and joyfully smear each other with acid paints of all colors. We got off with a slight fright, they didn’t douse us with paint, but put dots on our foreheads. Please note that almost all boats in Goa have counterweights. It turns out a catamaran-type design and this helps the boat to better stay on the waves. The waves in the Arabian Sea are serious, the boat may capsize. Boats with tourists move along the coast, but fishing boats go quite far out to sea. From time to time, you can watch a picture of a boat with fish mooring to the shore, fishermen sorting out and repairing nets, and Indian women dragging fish in basins. Bungalows on Palolem beach are quite comfortable. There are air conditioners, which is cool for Goa, they are far from being everywhere. However, it depends on the price tag of the guest house. Wir sind mit einem leichten Schreck davongekommen, sie haben uns nicht mit Farbe übergossen, sondern Punkte auf unsere Stirn gesetzt.
