Waitomo Glowworm is the name of a limestone cave in New Zealand famous for its stellar viewing. This magical cave is outside Waitomo, North Island, New Zealand. Aware of the uniqueness of Waitomo Caves, finally in 1889, Tane Tinorau opened the cave for tours. This cave is open daily starting at 09.00 local time. In pans season, Waotomo Cave is open until 17.30 local time, while winter is open until 17:00 local time.
