Agros, Cyprus – A Small Village Full of Roses
Hey guys,
I just spent three days in Agros, a small mountain village in Cyprus, and it was such a cool experience! The place is famous for its rose production, and you can literally smell roses everywhere. They grow Damask roses and turn them into all kinds of products—oils, perfumes, wine, tea, candles—you name it.
First Impressions
When I arrived, the weather wasn’t great—cloudy with some rain—but honestly, it didn’t matter. The village has such a cozy vibe with its narrow streets, stone houses, and super friendly locals. You can feel the tradition and passion everywhere.
What I Discovered
I met some amazing people who showed me how the rose industry works—from harvesting to making all these incredible products. It’s impressive to see how much craftsmanship goes into it!
I’ll share more details in my next posts, including the best rose factories I visited. And of course, I’ll add some photos so you can see for yourselves!
Have you ever been to Agros or tried any Cypriot rose products? Let me know!
Catch you later!
