Day 5: Fichtelberg - Stettfeld 145km

Coming back at you guys with Day 5 of the trip. I´m sorry i didn´t continue this series earlier.

So. Day 5 was the longest one of them all. The distance we managed to complete was about 145 km. On that day the weather forecast was suggesting that is gonna be a really hot day, so we wanted to start our trip pretty early.
Around 7:30 pm we began to cycle towards Stettfeld (a littly village near Bamberg).
Around noon we realized that we didnt get as far as we wanted by that time, so we had to take longer breaks in the afternoon. Taking longer breaks in the shadows that we found alongside the road, to not risk a heatstroke on anyone in the group.
Even though the weather was so hot on this day, the road was pretty good. 99% of the time the road was solid, no rocky/bumpy roads or earth roads.
