The Beauty of Mt. Maculot :)

Hello everyone! I just want to share one of the reasons why it is more fun here in the Philippines!(hooray!! :D)

Let me introduce you one of the beautiful mountain I've ever seen, Mt. Maculot, in Cuenca Batangas. I can still remember the excitement and nervous feeling before hiking that time. We are all excited to reach the summit of the mountain because from there, we will see the true beauty of it. But before that, we first have to cross several trails that we are going through. The first few minutes is a little bit easy for us to walk , but after a while, we feel our sweat coming from our head na.

When we reach the first trail of the mountain, we took some photos because the view was so beautiful and amazing! (mapapawow ka nalang talaga hahaha!) From there, you will already see the partial view of Taal Volcano. After picture taking (haha!), we took a rest for a while because our legs were aching and some of us were tired na rin. Few minutes after we rest, we walk again for almost an hour to reach the Rockies.

After spending an hour on top of the Rockies, it was time to climb naman at the Summit part (exciting!). We need to get down from the Rockies and this time, another challenging trekking again (huhuhuhu!). We continued to cross the trails. Walk walk and walk. Just a friendly reminder to everyone, bring MORE water because I only got 2 1.5 liters of water that time and it was so kulang for me hahahaha! :D (depending on the person if he or she got easily thirsty :D)
For an hour, I can feel already the fresh air. And there you are! the Mt. Maculot's Summit! You will lose all you're tiredness when you see the view of it (especially the Taal Volcano).I saw the happiness and amazingness (hahaha!) in our face when we finally reached it! Very relaxing. The beautiful creation of God. :)

It is late in the afternoon so we need to leaved na. Kung gaano katagal at kahaba yung nilakad namin paakyat, ganun din yung lalakadin namin para makababa. And while walking, I just realized that we found another bit of wondrous experience that easily indicates exactly how wonderful our country is. At the highest point of the Rockies and Mt. Maculot's summit, we found out how inconsequential we are under Mother Nature. In the meantime, we understood how critical our part(especially for me,as a Forest Ranger and as a Future Forester) is in for protecting our nature. I would never forget the true beauty of this, one of the best mountain I've ever seen so far.
