Travels through Thailand: Bangkok, Koh Samui and Koh Phi Phi
In October last year I took a trip with some of my closest friends. There were 10 or 11 of us who joined the trip at various times. We were a large group and almost all of us were 6ft plus (we actually all play basketball together) so we made quite an impression travelling around as a squad. We try to take a trip somewhere each year, when we were younger we would travel to play in basketball tournaments, we don't all pay together as much anymore but we still want to travel. It has become an annual tradition. On this occasion we traveled to Thailand! We started in Bangkok, staying near the iconic Khao San Road, and then made our way South to both Koh Samui and Koh Phi Phi. We ate well, saw the sights and partied for over two weeks. Here are some of the snaps of our Journey! Please enjoy! All the photos (except the group shot) were taken with a vintage (late 60's) Olympus Trip 35.
For me these photos show the versatility of the Trip 35 in different light conditions. It is a point and shoot and most of these shots were taken on the automatic setting. When it is very bright the photos take on a washed out look which I kind of like.
