A Day at Magic Kingdom Theme Park in the Walt Disney World Resort!
Would you like to join us for a trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom Theme Park in Orlando, Florida especially for breakfast at Crystal Palace because it is a lot easier to see the pictures than to see it in person? Here is my favorite picture first!
With living in Saint Petersburg, Florida, we began the trip with about an hour and a half drive to land in the epic parking lot!
The parking lots as the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks are all massive especially this one!
While I have never seen an alligator or a snake at Disney, a sign warns me that I might.
The parking lot is so big we have to take a monorail from where we parked into the theme park.
Before buying a ticket, we have to go through metal detectors which have been added within the last five years. Would these actually make any difference in preventing a crime? Are they a guaranteed inconvenience for thousands of people every day?
The cost for a ticket is over $100 per person per day including children over 2 or 3! We have season passes which were about $1,400 a year to come whenever we want along with free parking which is $20 per car otherwise. With doing posts and videos about Disney for my business, I write off half of the cost for season passes for my wife/photographer @laurabanfield and me.
Family on the way into the monorail! I want a matching shirt ...
Up the stairs to the monorail.
View out of the window from the monorail.
Monorail view inside contemporary hotel Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort. Yes I write these for Google image search optimization!
Monorail lake view Magic Kingdom!
Monorail space mountain view!
20 minutes after parking we finally arrive at the entrance to the park.
We love the fall decorations!
The train station looms large over the entrance!
Inside we are one family among many on Main Street.
I put my camera away and just wanted to experience the visit right before the castle. What a noob! As soon as it was in the case, I got it back out.
Our daughter Madeleine with nana and papa.
The horses are beautiful!
Our main event was breakfast at Crystal Palace because Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet all stop by to say hi! Here is the first glimpse of it.
A few steps forward.
The stairs up!
A look to the right of the stairs.
Into the dining room!
Lovely sunroof!
Hello Eeyore!
Eeyore gets a picture with @laurabanfield, Madeleine, and me!
Piglet with nana and Madeleine!
The best whole plant food option I could locate for breakfast was oatmeal with a few toppings!
My father in law agreed to pose for a picture with his breakfast if I mentioned his podcast named The Limey and The Yank at https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-limey-the-yank/id1253462598. He signed up for Steem at @limey-yank and I am helping him plan how to share his podcast here.
Time to look at the breakfast spread starting with the cinnamon rolls!
For the kids?
I think I dipped out of vegan and into vegetarian by eating one of these!
Made to order omelets are available!
A sweet savor unto the Lord featuring salmon, yogurt, and eggs.
Biscuits, gravy, and breakfast pizza!
We saw Winnie the Pooh!
Winnie the Pooh is getting a high five!
What a wonderful hug!
Eeyore and Pooh in flowers!
Every day is friendship celebration!
The crew prepares for lunch. I was hoping we would get to double tip breakfast and lunch but no such luck. We have to leave before lunch opened!
Right before we left, hugs from Tigger!
And papa with Winnie the Pooh on our way out!
Off to explore the rest of the park and use our fast passes! Here is a closer shot of the castle!
And closer with a beautiful sky in the background!
Carousel where I made use of the Nikon photo spot kind of.
After breakfast, our next ride was Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid!
Inside a relaxing ride!
Here is the ride entrance and exit.
Inside the Beauty and the Beast store, I wanted to buy all these and take them home but in practicing a minimalist and practical approach at home, I realized anything I bought would end up being given away as soon as it got some dust on it. Look but don't touch right?
Our final ride was It's A Small World!
@laurabanfield said I should look more excited after that first photo.
At the end of the ride, we say goodbye in many languages!
We were amazed to see the sign actually said goodbye Jerry!
After that, back home while I drove and everyone else napped in the car! Thank you for joining us on our day trip to Magic Kingdom Theme Park in the Walt Disney World Resort!
Love,
Jerry Banfield

Looks like you had a great time. I had never visited the magic kingdom before but I have visited Disneyland at Orange County and Tokyo. There seems to be some similar attractions as well. My wife really loved It's A Small World.
Good to see you are enjoying some vacationing and time with the family. This last week has been a good week for Bitcoin and it is a good time for celebration. I'm sure you must have loved It's a Small World, everyone does :)
That is so awful. I feel sorry for you. That you actually think Disney is okay and fun. The Disneyfication of culture disgusts me. Going vegan was a first step, now you gotta give up Disney and don't let them brainwash your family. Can't believe people actually upvoted this. Disney is pure evil.
Is it because of the price? Is it because it is so ingrained in USA culture? Do you have any links that show how/why it is evil?
Look up Mouse Liberation Front. Maybe evil is too strong or wrong of a word well... could think of it this way...being treated like a little baby. Huh, even saying that is wrong too. People shouldn't even treat babies like a cutesy object. People have pets that are proto-children and then they have their children as meat dolly. Disney embodies that I think. Really it's all cartoon anyway, can't take it too seriously or not seriously enough either.
Ah good days :) Heading to FL myself here soon and prob moving there for a few years here by years end! Have a blast to the rest of your weekend
i belive you have a nice life man ;) keep like this
@jerrybanfield you make me feel like a kid again. I grew up in Southern California so needless to say I have been to Disneyland numerous times. When I was a child in the 60's we did not have day passes we actually had Ticket Books and everyone Loved the "E" Ticket Rides !!!
Wow! Great pics, makes me yearn to go back again and again
Wow, great moment with family, have a nice day :) @jerrybanfield
The 1st Rule of Life is to Live it... money never sticks with anyone.. before us our grand parents were using it.. now us & in future our generations will use it... The truth is that every second is taking us near to our END which is definitely TRUTH... So we should create again and again Happy & Memorable moments in every day of life ! That's life is all about !!
Dang, that's one heck of a post!
