Love of my lives

I remember the day I took this photo on our never ending honeymoon. I didn’t want to forget this moment, the lighting, the softness... my love in this moment. So many memories. I came across this photo today and the first time we met flashed into my mind. Deep brown eyes, flushed cheeks, curly matted chestnut locks all the way down his back and that wide beautiful smile that fully pops up after the wittiest of comment deliveries. I remember what he was wearing even though that was over ten years ago and I can’t remember what I was even wearing yesterday. I adored you from that moment on my love. We became the best of friends and shared everything... talked to each other every day sometimes a few times a day and this was way before we had cell phones and had to rely on fate, planning and landline answering machines. We shared everything, latenight walks and talks, heart breaks, dating tips, pizzas, peanut butter balls, feta fries at 2:00Am, loads of laughs and tears. We adventured around Winnipeg together arm and arm day after day night after night. To think that one day we would be adventuring the world together hand in hand, gazing at the golden temple, hiking the Himalayas, cruising the out back... That those hands I watched tearing it up playing in EP, sharing pizza heaven with and climbing trees with would be the same hands to catch our baby boy from my womb so many years later, snuggle and tickle our baby girl with and carry the weight of our little family. So grateful for these memories and the opportunity to be creating them. And for all the fun and easy times along with the hard and... 💩 ones also. #mancrusheveryday humm more so like #loveofmylives
