Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center
Here are some nice pictures I took during a massive rain storm of the Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center in the city of Avilés in Spain. I was traveling along the north coast of Spain and I was looking for an inside location that I could discover, because it was very bad weather that day. I had this museum already pined on my maps of places to visit but I didn't knew exactly were I was going. I do like modern museums but this was more of a quick and dry stop along my route home. I parked my car next to a motor cycle on a pretty empty parking lot and that could have been my first sign that something was wrong.
I thought it couldn't be closed today because it was a Tuesday, normally museums are closed on Mondays. But it's off season so when I came closer, I realized that the museum and cultural center were closed. Despite that, when I walked around the last corner and walked onto the main square on the property, I was extremely surprised. What a beautiful building was this. Well a couple of beauty's I must say.
There is an Auditorium were they have theater and concerts.
