Travel India #2 : Kerala Backwaters, Alleppey
Hello fellow Steemians
This blog is the continuation of my previous travel blog, if you have not read that please check it out(https://steemit.com/travel/@man-d/travel-india-1-southern-most-point-on-mainland-india-kanniakumari).
In this blog I will be taking you through my journey of Alleppey/Alappuzha. This is a place in Kerala which is famous for its backwaters and its networks of lagoons. Its is a famous tourist destination for renting House Boats, which is an amazing experience and if you are ever in this part of the world then I suggest that you should put it in your to-do list.
So after our stay at Kanniakumari we came to Alleppey and was greeted with a lovely shower as you can see in this image. The view was awe inspiring. Water water everywhere and more water falling from the sky. The boat you see in this is just so you can spend a little time going through the water canals.
These are some of the house boats you can rent out, and just relax all day in the boat while it takes you on a remarkable journey which I am sure you wont forget.
This is the boat we had rented as we only had to stay for a few hours.
A few images before getting on our boat
Here we go
People fishing with self made fishing rods :)
People usually have their houses on the banks and also provide the food service. So for cheap and tasty sea food you can visit these small food joints.

India is the best ! Your trip had to be awesome ! It remind me a bit of Srinagar in kashmir where people live in boats on the Dale lake. Next time you are going to india you should check it out.
