Dog Cafes in Korea, not what you think...

This may be a contentious claim, but having grown up in Los Angeles, I was sorely disappointed in the Korea BBQ joints in Korea. Korean BBQ in Los Angeles was cheaper and tastier compared to the ones I visited in Seoul (maybe it's because I love beef and beef is so expensive in Korea).

However, the Dog Cafes in Korea was the best out of all the ones I've visited in the world.

Yes, we were in Korea; and yes, when you type "do Koreans" into Google Search, Google will try to autocomplete with "... eat dogs"; but, no they're not cafes selling dog meat...

Dog Cafes are coffee shops that serves bundles of joy--in the form of all-you-can-cuddle-puppies--with your drinks.

There were many of these in Seoul and we visited three of them. One were as dirty as you'd think they would be when you mix dogs and food. One had more people than dogs and lines up the wazoo, since they were the only Dog Cafe listed in English on Google Maps.

But, after much searching and dog cuddling, in the heart of plastic surgery clinics that is Gangnam, we finally found our favorite dog cafe: The Wal'z & Joypia Pet Cafe.

First of all, the store was devoid of any offensive dog smells. Second, the pups themselves were clean, cute, and most of all people friendly! Finally... well that's it actually since the drinks were expensive and not so good; but, one does not go to a dog cafe to drink coffee! Although you have to buy a drink to stay there. It's kinda like the entrance fee.

I would totally endure another 13 hour flight to go to a dog cafe in Seoul!
