Peak Pantan Terong Takengon With Stunning Views
Pantan Terong has been named as the object of a unique tourist destination in Central Aceh District. The entire Cold City, travelers said, is clearly visible from this hilltop.
Takengon's gray skies did not dampen my steps and a traveling companion in mid-May 2017. We entered the Sacred Path of Bebesan Sub-district from Simpang Empat Jalan Bireuen - Takengon. We were advised that the villagers first reached Empustelu Village, so asked how the way to Puncak Eggplant. On the information board on one corner of the village road is explained, it must travel 6 km to get there.
Slowly, the motor bulldoze the asphalt track. Hole - or we call it "Batman Trap" - gaping at some point of Empustelu Village which is adjacent to Bahgie Village. Almost every home page citizens overgrown with coffee sticks. Bersaf-saf, neatly lined up.
The road continues to climb as it passes through the Welcome gate at Bahgie Village. The motor roared across the plantation that was crawling down the mountainside. The higher the chill the more we climb the snaking trajectory.
Although it includes a mainstream place for tourists, but the scenery is unquestionable. Not recommended to go with motorcycle matic because the track is difficult and dangerous even though the path is paved.
