Nice to hear you have had some great experiences! I have not used the service yet (oh but I would love to travel more!), but we have some friends who rent out a few extra rooms through it in their home in Portland, Oregon. They haven't had any bad experiences either, and it is a great way for them to earn a little extra side income. I had some friends recently book a room that way for their trip to Germany and they said it was a really great option because the man who owned the place was nice enough to stock a few things for them in the kitchen as their flight landed really late the first night in. Definitely some perks over your average hotel! :)
