This is the fourth article of this series, continuing with the first article “to see the milky way in the Lake Tekapo in New Zealand. You can travel there in June or July.” In this article I will discuss the accommodation plan in New Zealand Part 2. The following accommodation option can save you at least US$500. Let you save more money when you travel in New Zealand and the Lake Tekapo. It will raise the chance of the travel dream. At the same time, this plan is not only high value, but also safer, easier and more comfortable. It is worth for you to look down the article.

At last post in series third, the first choice is the "Cabins" of the campsite of Holliday Park in various locations. The second is the cheap room"Unit" at Holliday Park. These two options can save you at least US$500 in accommodation. Here we take a example first:（All the examples below, the date is on 2018.06.20）

Because there is no "Top 10" campsite on the Lake Tekapo. I recommend the "Lake Tekapo Motels & Holiday Park". This is in the first and second options we discussed.

As shown above, we can see that “Lake Tekapo Motels and Holiday Park” get the score 8.3 in 2848 reviews.

On the Agoda official website, they have more than 2,000 reviews, we can believe that they manage this Holliday Park for a long time, and many travelers have lived it. It has a high rating of 8.3 points, and it means that their quality is maintained at a certain level for a long time. This Holiday Park with 8.3 points in 2848 reviews is a great choice that will allow me to set my mind at rest to reserve my room.

As the photo shown above, their "Cabin" room for two persons just need 73 US dollars which is a very impressive price. Besides their campsite is located right by the lake. Just open the door, You can see the Lake Tekapo. It is really a good choice. However, the disadvantage is that there is no private toilet and private bathroom. We need to use the public toilets and public toilets.

The “Large Standard Studio” room of this Holiday Park costs 112 USD for two persons for one night and 127 USD for three persons. With shower facilities. The price is at an acceptable range. As we mentioned in the previous article, if we must need a higher level of comfort, we have to pay more.

Next we continue to discuss the other three High CP Value accommodation options with rental car.

The priority is that:
The third is the private room of the YHA.

The fourth is the hotels with High CP Value.

The fifth is the single bed in "3 bed share mixed" or "4 bed share mixed" of the YHA.

The third is the private room of the YHA, which doesn’t include private toilet and private bathroom, but is a private room. In fact, There are a lot of people don’t know this option.

As shown above, the Twin Private Room or Queen Private Room of the YHA are both for 2 persons and just need 72 NZD, which don’t include private toilet and private bathroom.

As the photo above , if you are three people, you need only 78 NZD for this room. At the same time the notes about this room on the website indicate that 3 Beb Share Mixed room is available for you to become a private room. Please note that this type room does not include a private toilet and private bathroom.

If you are four people, you can choose a 4 Bed Share Mixed or two Twin Private. This depends on your needs. 4 Bed Share Mixed for four people just cost 112 NZD, and two rooms of the Twin Private room total cost 144 NZD.

The fourth is the hotels with High CP Value.

If these three options above are fully booked or you don't like their location, you need to find a hotel with a High CP Value. I have made a choice rule for your reference. The hotel needs over 200 reviews on AGODA, and the score need to be greater than 8. This rule can save you a lot of time and find the hotel you want easily. If the hotels is really few in some locations, adjust the rules as appropriate.

It has 1,128 reviews and has the score of 8.1 points. It shows that it has a lot of reviews, and it still maintains the score above 8, which means that they also maintain a certain level for a long time.

As the photo above shows, the room for two persons(including a private bathroom) just cost 90 USD per night. Is really a very amazing price.

The fifth option is the single bed in "3 bed share mixed" or "4 bed share mixed" of the YHA. This does not include private toilet and private shower, and the room is an open space.

As the photo above, a single bed is only cost NZ$26. If you travel by yourself, then the single bed of the YHA is certainly a better option, which is cheaper and can communicate with other people. If you travel with more than one person, this is our fifth choice. The following is the reason:

Usually I suggest that if you travel with more than one person, you must live in the first four options which have independent space. Because you often need to drive car for long-distance, if there is an independent space to rest, You can have better sleep quality and relax more. For example, from Christchurch to the Lake Tekapo, it is more than 200 kilometers and it takes three to four hours to drive to there in the good weather. Usually driving to the Lake Tekapo is very tiring for the driver. Not to mention that if there is heavy rain, heavy snow falls, or traffic jam.

So you can choose the first four accommodation methods which have the private space I recommend above, it is really a very High CP Value, cheap, safe, comfortable and simple.

因为在蒂卡波湖没有“Top 10”的露营地。我在这边推荐“特卡波湖汽车旅馆和假日公园 Lake Tekapo Motels & Holiday Park“.，这是属于我们讨论的第一及第二个选项。

如上图，我们可以看到， “特卡波湖汽车旅馆和假日公园 Lake Tekapo Motels & Holiday Park“他们在2848篇评鉴当中得到8.3分。

在agoda网站上，他们有超过2000篇的评鉴，我们可以相信他们有经营很久的时间，有很多的旅行者过去住过，并且有8.3分的高评价，代表他们的品质长期都维持在一定的水准，这个2848篇有8.3分的露营地，是会让我可以安心的预订房间的选择。

并且如上图，他们的客舱房“Cabin room” ，双人房只要73美金，大约465+人民币（未含税），是个非常让人觉得心动的价格。并且他们露营地的位置就在湖畔，打开房门就是蒂卡波湖，真的是一个好选择。不过缺点就是没有独立厕所跟独立浴室，要使用公共浴室跟公共厕所。

他们露营地的”Large Standard Studio”房间两个人一晚112美元，三个人127美元，附淋浴设备，是可以接受的范围，如我们在上一篇所说，要有更高的舒适度，就要多付一些金额。

接下来我们会继续往下讨论其他三个，租轿车后，搭配的高CP值住宿方式。

顺序为

第三是以YHA的独立房间（private room）为选项。

第四是以CP值高的旅馆为主。

第五是以YHA的单人床(混合三床或混合四床)为选项。

第三个选项是以YHA的独立房间（private）为选项，这不含独立厕所跟独立淋浴设备，但是是独立空间。其实有很多人是不知道有这个选项的。

如上图，YHA的Twin Private房或Queen Private都可以住2个人，一间只要72纽币。注意这个是不含独立厕所跟独立浴室的。

如上图，如果你是三个人，一间只要78纽币。同时在这间房间的备注有说明，3 Beb Share Mixed的房间是可以供你们成为独立私人房间的。注意这个房型不含独立厕所跟独立浴室。

如果你们是四个人，可以选择一间 4 Bed Share Mixed或是两间Twin Private。这个看你们的需求决定， 4 Bed Share Mixed四个人一间只要112纽币， Twin Private房两间是144纽币。

第四个是CP值高的旅馆。
当前三项都被订满或是你不喜欢他们地点的话，就是要寻找CP值高的旅馆。我自己做了一个选择的规则，供你参考。在AGODA上要超过200篇评论，并且分数要大于8。这个规则可以让你节省很多时间，并容易找到理想的旅馆，如果一个地区旅馆真的很少，再视情况调整规则。

第四个选项的举例：

如上图，这是蒂卡波湖的湖蓝水度假村“Petters Bluewater Resort”。

它总共有1128篇评鉴，评分是8.1 分，也是一间拥有非常多评鉴，依旧维持在8以上的分数，也代表他们也都长期维持在一定的水准。

如上图，一间双人房（含独立浴室的）一晚90美元，真的是非常令人惊艳的价格。

第五个选项是以YHA的单人床位 (混合三床或混合四床) 为选项。这不含独立厕所跟独立淋浴设备，并且是开放空间。

如上图，一个床位只要26纽币。如果你是一个人，那YHA的单人床位当然是一个较好的选项，便宜又可以跟其他人交流。如果你是两个人以上出发，这就是我们的第五个选择，原因如下：

通常我建议，如果两个人以上，一定要住前四个选项有独立空间的。因为常常需要开长途的车，有独立的空间就可以有比较好的睡眠品质，也比较可以放松。举例像从基督城到蒂卡波湖就超过200公里，开车就要三到四个小时， 而且还是路况良好的情况，开到蒂卡波湖通常驾驶也都累了。更何况是下大雨，下大雪或塞车呢？

所以选择我以上所推荐的前四种有独立空间的住宿方式，真的是非常高的CP值，便宜，安全，舒适，简单。
