MY JOURNEY TO "GIBITNGIL FUNTASTIC ISLAND RESORT" MEDELLIN CEBU

"Gibitngil Funtastic Island" is a famous resort in Medellin Cebu. It was my first time to go there, I was amazed by the view because of the surroundings. Some people calls this place a little Palawan due to its walls of rocks that look fantastic and really amazing creation of God.

But before that, It took 4 hours of land travel together with my colleagues under the cold morning going to Kawit Medellin from Cebu North Bus Terminal. In there, we took a trisikad to bring us to a nearby coastline. And then we get off and switch to pump boat. It was really exciting journey to Gibitngil Funtastic Island for us in just 30 minutes.

And finally we arrived!!! we hired a big cottage that cost 300 pesos so we would get the top most area and clearly see the ocean view of whole Island. We then settled our things, eat breakfast, change outfits and then took pictures with the beautiful view. Exactly, this Island was so Fantastic yet amazing !!!. While I was looking the surroundings of the Island, I feel relieved and comfortable because of the crystal clear water, the white sand and of-course the fresh air. It was also an overlooking view from the two Islands, the Bantayan Island and Santa Fe.

The Northern part of Cebu brings you to new places, full of fun and wonder just like this Island. It was a good ambiance for local and foreign visitors.

This Island is quite safe especially for all visitors, since it is closely monitored by the residence of the area and the local government. Besides, the place is also a marine sanctuary which is guarded by the local Bantaydagat Personnel.
