Visit with me!! 💙Big Basin California *Oldest trees in the world!!
Hello to all my Steemians !!
Visit with me!! Big Basin California
Ever wonder the where oldest trees are ?
The age of a tree can be determined by counting the layers or rings. Each year a tree increases in size by adding a new layer of wood outside the old.
...and into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.
The first and oldest state park in California, Big Basin offers magnificent views of giant redwood trees, mountains, streams, waterfalls and even sweeping ocean views.
Here you will find some of the oldest trees on the planet! Scientist estimate that some may be as old as 1,000 to 2,000 years.
With every changing season, the park offers a unique experience all year round.
The park boasts some amazing trails. Some of these trails are difficult and some are mere strolls in amazingly scenic areas of the park.

All I can say is that whether or not you are a nature lover or not you must go. My puppy loved it here 💙
Found this ball during a stroll. The woods are full of life and beauty.
There's nothing crazy about this seat...is just half of the root of a tree :D
No matter where you look is all green with a magical fairy tale feel.
The perfect antidote to urban living.
Sempervirens Falls, one of many beautiful waterfalls.
Coast redwoods are the tallest trees in the world.
Trees with holes big enough for several persons to stay in. These holes were caused by fire from lightning strike but the tree is still alive
In their stretch toward the sun, they can reach heights of over 375 feet. Redwoods dominate the forest.
This place is gorgeous with plenty to do such as hikes, camping, nature photographing and plenty to learn. Information is available at the visitors office.
If you live in California you definitely want to make sure you visit Big Basin at least once in your lifetime. This has made it to one of my favorite places I've visited.
Hope you guys enjoyed this be sure to stay tuned for more of @splendorhub's adventures 💙

Greetings, beautiful Miss Splendor
Many thanks for this tutorial about the park. I found it very beautiful. I imagine it must be a place of great peace and it seems that it is not a place of great visitation, because there were only you and your little dog in the photo.
I like nature very much and I saw that there, besides being in a peaceful environment, you can swim, run, walk and enjoy this walk in various ways.
I found the photo of your dog very nice. I have my shitzu dog named Miya and I do not live without her one day.
Thank you very much for the post. Good evening!!!!!
