Vivid Sydney is an annual light festival that occurs every year in June. During the festival, the city of Sydney would be covered with colourful light shows and projections that showcase the artistic side of Sydney. Let us take a look at how beautiful and amazing Sydney can be during Vivid Sydney.

悉尼每年六月份都会举行活力悉尼灯光节。节日期间，悉尼市中心各处都会有五光十色的灯光艺术秀，十分好看。这一期经纬游踪，让我带大家感受一下悉尼灯光节的精彩。

The best place to start enjoying Vivid Sydney is from Circular Quay. Circular Quay is key transport hub, serves as an interchange between buses, trains and ferries, but is also a famous tourist attraction due to it being located right on the best part of the Sydney Harbour. If you arrive by train, you can see the beautiful harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge as soon as you hop off onto the platform. Having such a central location means that Circular Quay is where everything is happening, especially during Vivid Sydney. During the festival, the buildings around the area, such as the Custom House or the Museum of Contemporary Arts, would become huge screens displaying amazing and colourful light shows. There are also a lot of light sculptures and interactive stations that people can play with and enjoy.

Coming out from the train station and walk along the waterfront towards the right, you will arrive at the world-famous icon – The Sydney Opera House. The Opera House is the place to be during Vivid Sydney, when the white, sail-like roof of the Opera House becomes a large projector screen for various artwork, designed by well-known artists, drawn by light. The ever-changing colours and patterns give a dazzling show that is truly a sight to behold. You can take a sip of your favourite drink at the Opera Bar right underneath the Opera House while taking in this amazing scene, if you are willing to splurge.

从火车站出来面对码头往右沿着海边走一会，就到达悉尼歌剧院。悉尼歌剧院是活力灯光节的重头戏，七彩幻灯映射在那像白帆一样的歌剧院顶上，五光十色，非常漂亮。你可以在歌剧院低下的歌剧院酒吧一边喝点小酒，一边欣赏这精彩的灯光秀。当然，这么近距离欣赏歌剧院，这杯小酒肯定比平常要贵些。

For a different view of the Opera House, head to the opposite side of the Quay, in front of the Museum of Contemporary Arts. There, you can enjoy the Opera House at a completely different angle, which would look completely different due to the Opera House’s unique design. If you keep going, and turn left at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, you will arrive at the Rocks, one of the oldest suburbs in Sydney and an entertainment quarter right underneath the Harbour Bridge which offers bars, restaurants and cafes that open till late. There is a Guylian Chocolate Café right at the intersection which is pretty nice. During Vivid Sydney, the buildings here would also join in the fun and light up in various colours.

你也可以往回走，到歌剧院对岸，现代艺术馆前往回看。你会发现在不同角度看悉尼歌剧院会有完全不一样的感觉。从现代艺术馆往歌剧院反方向走，走到游轮码头往左转，就到的古老的洛克区。这个在悉尼大桥底的小区有很多酒吧，餐厅和咖啡厅供游人选择。在主街和小路交界就有一家巧克力甜品店，里面的热巧克力不错。灯光节时，路边的楼宇都不甘寂寞，穿着五颜六色的彩灯衣裳。

Finally you could venture out further, and head to Milsons Point on the opposite side of the bridge either by ferry or train. From Milsons Point you can have an uninterrupted view of the Harbour and Circular Quay, as well as admire at the the Harbour Bridge looming overhead. During Vivid Sydney, the light projections on the Opera House really adds to the already beautiful nightscape of the Sydney Harbour. At Milsons Point there is also the famous Luna Park, where kids, teenagers and grown-ups alike can enjoy the many rides and carnival treats that the theme park has on offer.

最后一站是悉尼大桥对岸的米尔逊角，可以从环形码头坐火车或渡轮到达。在米尔逊角可以一览环形码头和悉尼港的全景，也可以欣赏悉尼大桥的雄伟。在灯光节的晚上，歌剧院的光影为悉尼港添加不少色彩。米尔逊角还有有名的月亮公园，里面有不少好玩的过山车和游乐设施，非常适合青少年或心境年轻的成年人。
