Burj Khalifa! The tallest building in the world! Dubai - UAE
The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world with a height of 828 meters. More than 12,000 people from 30 countries participated in the construction of the building. It was previously known as Burj Dubai.
To get an idea of its height, it is best to compare it with the most famous skyscraper in the world, the Empire State Building in New York. At 381 meters high (431 if we include its antenna), the New York skyscraper is half the Burj Khalifa.
Construction of the Burj Khalifa began on September 21, 2004 and ended on January 4, 2010, more than a year later than expected. The skyscraper is notable for having a large number of residential apartments, something unusual so far.
The Burj Khalifa has two viewpoints that offer amazing views. The first one is on the 124th floor, located 442 meters above sea level, undoubtedly the best point of Dubai to contemplate the city.
The second of the viewpoints, captures all eyes after having become the highest in the world snatching this title from the Tower Canton in Guangzhou. Located at 555 meters high, the viewpoint occupies the 148th floor of the building to offer amazing bird's eye views of the city in miniature, as it could not be otherwise from such a height.
