Magnificent Viharn and Awesome Sculptures at Wat Rat Burana

As advised in my previous post, there are many interesting things at Wat Rat Burana that I visited last weekend; i.e. magnificent Viharn and awesome sculptures, etc.

The main Viharn is very large with magnificent architecture and marvelous decorations. It’s surrounded by brick walls.

The entrance door is beautiful and there are two awesome sculptures of white Singhas on both sides of the door.

When walking through the entrance door, you will find white Thammajak (or Wheel of Life) and a beautiful golden Buddha statue.

The doors, the windows and the roof of the main Viharn are decorated beautifully with awesome sculptures of angels.

Besides, there are many awesome sculptures of Nagas on the roof as well.

There are small pavilions with Thai style roofs for people to sit and relax during their visit to Wat Rat Burana.

The area was peaceful and I was really happy seeing these awesome things.
