Street Art: Bosnia

Bosnia has some lovely street art both of a political and social nature. Below are some of my favourite pieces.

The Sarajevo Rose can be found all over the city of Sarajevo. Painted from the mortar shells of the war it is a constant reminder of the seize that affected the city in the early 90’s.

The Olympic Bob Sled track in Sarajevo is also covered in graffiti and street art. Some are just tags whereas some have political standings and are reminders for peace.

Mostar also had great art work on the way to Mostar there is a beautiful mural of the bridge. Walking through the city to old town there are also lovely murals on the walls of the side streets
