A few more shots from my Visit to Kennedy Park Fall River
Good Morning today I will share a few shots from a visit to John F. Kennedy Park in Fall River.

That morning I had a doctor's appointment that I had to be there at 7:30, and since it was a nice morning i headed out early and caught the sunrise at Heritage State park, but when I was done there I still had time to fill, so decided to check out this park I had never been to before.

A little about the park

John F. Kennedy Park, which is the full name for the park, is a 57-acre historic recreational area in southern Fall River, Massachusetts, designed by the famed Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, they are notable for designing many parks, including Central Park in NYC, and locally here also Buttonwood Park in New Bedford

Originally called South Park when it opened in 1868, it was renamed in 1963 to honor the late president. The park is known for its rolling landscapes that offer panoramic views of Mount Hope Bay and the Braga Bridge

I will probably head there again sometime, perhaps even check it out at sunrise when the views may be cool, but these shots give a little feel of some of the features in the park

Starting with this cool old structure, which I have shared a shot of in a Monochrome Monday post but from inside it , I would imagine it would be a cool spot to host events, I wonder if they do that
