Real Saturday life from Piura, Peru! The men all watching the football (soccer) is a classic in any football (soccer) mad country. The country is in the World Cup this June/July, so just gearing up for the craze. Thanks for showing us around and hopefully, you got to eat something more than just pastries (dessert before mains rule) haha ;)

Yea I certaily don't know my football. To see people at a bar or restaurant watching sports is one thing, there in that viewing area was a bit different. I ended up have a big piece of apple pie for dinner! Lol. It was good though.
Where there is football/soccer, people will gather. The strangest place Sam has watched football was in an Italian bar in London. You had to ordered a minimum of £5 food and/or drink and then you will be taken to a small basement room where there were many people (10-12) crammed in watching a Serie A game on a projector. It was back in the days where streaming at home still wasn't in great quality. Plus he wanted to watch the match with his friends, who said this was the place to get in with the atmosphere. The things you do for the sport you love!
