Maheshkhali Adinath Ghat.

Maheshkhali is an island upazila of Chittagong. The easiest way to reach this upazila is by trawler and speedboat. A ghat or jetty terminal is required to stop the speedboat and pick up and drop off tourists. Although there are many jetty ghats, they are fishery ghats. A new ghat has been built here for tourists, which is near the Adinath temple, so this ghat is named Maheshkhali Adinath Ghat. Today I am going to write about this ghat in Steam Atlas.

The reason why this ghat is more popular with tourists is the shooting bridge here, which was used to shoot various movies. This ghat is known only to tourists and speedboat drivers for picking up and dropping off passengers. No trawlers stop here, all travel is by speedboat. However, small motorized boats can also be used.

After getting down at this ghat, many autos or CNGs wait for tourists who take them to tour the tourist places in Maheshkhali. However, you have to pay the fare before going. There is a dense forest along this ghat and a bridge on both sides of the bridge. The entire forest is covered with palm trees, palm leaves and various species of trees that can survive even if they are submerged in salt water during the tide. Most of the time, this forest is half submerged in the tidal water.

There are two shops here where light snacks and packet food are available. Banana bread is a food with water which gives some energy to the tired body. The price is comparatively high.

This picture is of the Fishery Ghat next to Maheshkhali Adinath Ghat, which was the place where everyone used to travel before the opening of this Ghat.
