Hello friends of this wonderful community, who always lead me to discover new places, this time I want to share with you my little exploration I did on Saturday. Finally, after a long time, I went to visit an important exhibition held inside an ancient church, which has been deconsecrated and is now used for these art exhibitions.

In fact, this church is hosting an exhibition called Another Twentieth Century Casorati Semeghini Trentino and Arte Verona from July 5th to September 21st. Unfortunately, since I'm also having a tough time because I'm moving, and then I started working intensely again, I'd never found a moment to visit it, and I was a little sad about it, but fortunately, on the penultimate day, I managed to visit.

Certainly, what struck me immediately was that there were quite a few people, also because in the end there were no famous artists present but in reality they are paintings that still have a certain value and think that many of these works, I would say almost all of them only inside bank archives and therefore are not usually even exhibited and it's a real shame, but this also makes us understand how many works of art there are in Italy.

Basically, this project was curated by this art historian to tell the story of the Veronese period of the twentieth century, where there were influences between symbolism, realism, Viennese influences and divisionism. She was also able to see that there was a strong connection with the landscape of Verona. In short, this exhibition was precisely something to enhance the artistic heritage of Verona from a lesser-known and less famous perspective. But which is just as important, I will probably have to visit another exhibition in the next few weeks because a famous artist called Homer Galiani will be coming here and will bring his contemporary exhibition.

I hope you enjoyed this other passion of mine, in addition to books, which remains my main one. I also hope you'll appreciate my upcoming posts on other exhibitions taking place here. Every now and then, something cultural emerges in this country, and that's a wonderful thing.

MODs/Admins' Observation:
What a beautiful story! It's truly fascinating when exhibitions like this allow us to discover lesser-known artists and works, kept away from the public eye. They are precious opportunities to approach a "hidden" heritage and better understand the rich artistic history of Verona in the twentieth century. The church's setting must have made the experience even more evocative!
