Hello steemians, Today I would like to share with you all my traveling experience, this was a trip that my family and I took on Sunday i.e 28/12/2025 we had to travel on Sunday because my people don't allow individuals to travel on Monday, this is because of the goal of becoming another nation on its own.

On this day, we had to wake up by 4:10 a.m. so that we could get ready as soon as possible to board a bus in any of the transportation companies. Although we had already prepared our luggage on Saturday, we had to take it to the gate entrance of 245 RECCE BATTALION in the morning. My brother did that and the next thing to do was to take our bath, after that, we ate and left by 8:30 we then entered a car which took us to Peace Mass Transit where passengers board buses which head to their own destination, peace mass Transit is one of the biggest, and popular transportation companies in Nigeria.

They are known for giving quality transportation services. When we got to the peace mass it was already 10:30, my mom and I went forward to book a ticket to our destination which is Imo state, our main reason for traveling is because of the colanut festival which will be celebrated on the 1st of 2026, making the beginning of the new year, it happens to be that my community is hosting this year's kolanut festival (ORJI)

WAITING FOR THE BUS TO GET FILLED UP

After we booked the ticket, the next thing we had to do was to go ahead and write our names on the bus manifest. We happened to be boarding a bus with the number 1685. After we had done that, we then stood out for about 30 minutes before the passengers for the trip became complete. And immediately we all entered and the workers at the transit loaded our luggage, before the driver began the journey a pastor close to the bus prayed for us and declared a safe journey after the prayer my mother and I sowed a seed with some passengers as well and after that we took off at exactly 11:58 a.m.

Not long after we were on the journey our bus almost somersaulted, at all happened when 80% of us in the bus where asleep due to the air from the window, I was also asleep and suddenly the tire of the bus burst and the bus began to wave right and left and while asleep I could here passengers shouting blood of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus and I joined in to realize that the bus is not steady right in my heart I was just praying that they shouldn't be another vehicle coming towards the bus because surely they will both collide on each other and as I prayed not being to scared because I had faith that I couldn't possibly die.

EVERYONE SHOCKED AT THE EARLY INCIDENT

With the help of God, the bus stopped. This was actually the first experience I and everyone in my family would have had, as it was close to the loss of lives. We got out of the bus singing songs of praise as we survived that scene. After getting out the driver explained that while he was on the wheel as the tire burst he immediately switched the car off so that the acceleration level of the car returned to zero to make sure that we don't move further, with the brilliant move and the help of the Lord he was able to navigate the car to the left side of the road.

As we were outside holding on to the reality that we are still alive, the driver made use of the spare tire he had and changed the tire immediately so we could continue. God indeed works, and after changing the tire, we moved forward to continue the journey.

At exactly 6:15 p.m., we arrived at Abia tower 🗼 precisely in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State. You can see me behind the tower, and after we got off the bus, we had to look for a Keke which would take us straight ahead to our house in the village. We immediately found a Keke Rider who took us from Umuahia to Eziudo Ezinihitte UMUEKWEREDE -NA- UMUEZELECHI meaning The children of Ekwerede and Ezelechi my people.

All thanks to God, we arrived safely by 7:36 p.m. After we had come home, all we did was take our bath, eat, and have a good night's rest.
