The Diary Game: [21/09/26] - Another Day, Another Experience.

Hello everyone 😊 and welcome to another episode of my diary. Today was another busy day at school, and I also got to experience something a little different in the bursary unit. I woke up at 6:00am, said my prayers, brushed my teeth and took my bath. After that, I ate fried plantains and fried eggs, prepared for school and left home.

When I got to school, as usual, I went to write my name in the attendance book. After that, I went to my office to arrange everything and keep the place neat. I made sure everything was properly arranged before the morning assembly. After the assembly, I went back to the office because parents had already started coming to make their payments. I started attending to them as they came. Some came to pay their children's school fees, while others came to pay for textbooks.

Today, I also got to experience another part of the work. Some parents had questions concerning their children's fees and payment details, so I had to attend to them and give them the information they needed. I had to listen carefully to understand their questions before responding. At first, I was a little careful because I didn't want to give the wrong information, but as I attended to more parents, I became more comfortable. I actually enjoyed interacting with the parents because it gave me more confidence. I also realized that working in the bursary unit is not only about collecting money or working with records. You also have to be patient, listen to people and communicate properly with them. It was another experience that helped me understand the work better. In the afternoon, I ate some fried plantain before continuing with my activities for the day.

School closed by 3:00pm, and after the dismissal assembly, I stayed back to arrange everything in the office. When I was done, I locked the office and went home. When I got home, I took a shower and went to prepare jollof rice. After preparing the rice, I dished out some and ate. I then decided to watch some movies and relax a little. Before I could finish watching the movies, it was already 8:00pm. I had planned to sleep early because I needed to wake up early to prepare for school the next day. I ate dinner, took my shower, made my bed and finally fell asleep, hoping for a better day tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed this episode of my diary.
