A Quick Lunch

My wife and I entered into this cozy local restaurant near home and it was one of those spontaneous decisions on a busy Sunday after writing the weekly report on Steemit with no fancy plans, just good food and some quality time together.

We settled at a small table close to kitchen where the aroma of fresh paranthas already filled the air, making our mouths water.

We ordered Tandoori Aloo Parantha, served hot and fluffy straight from the tawa. The outer layer was golden and crisp, stuffed generously with spiced mashed potatoes, perfectly backed and having green chilies and cumin.

It came with a side of creamy curd, cooling and thick, just the right contrast to the heat. The curry was a simple potato onion gravy, mildly spiced with garam masala, adding that comforting homemade flavor.

And the pickles? Fiery mango achar that gave every bite a zesty kick.

We enjoyed the paranthas, dipping it into curd and curry, chatting about our week. The flavors blended so well, crunchy, soft, spicy, and soothing all at once. I love tandoori parathas here ideal for a light lunch. The staff was as friendly as always, and the bill is easy on my pocket.

It was a nice experience, simple joy like this makes my weekend better especially after an early report posting.
