| The diary game | A Day full of Events | 31/01/2026 |
I Woke up at 6:30 AM to the soft chirps of birds outside my window from my room but morning felt extra chill. After a quick breathing exercise, deep inhales for five counts, holds, and slow exhales to shake off any haze, I grabbed my phone. I was okay until I saw @vivigibelis comment but then I jumped to my laptop and corrected my PIN.
Scribbled thoughts on a new plan about travel community in my mind and discussion with reputed community owners and their offers which hustle with my own plans however that's life for you.
My wife brewed strong tea with black pepper, elaichi, lemon, savoring it on my bed while watching the dense mist covering the sky gray making it impossible to look beyond a few meters.By 10:30, I was out for my routine shopping spree but moved to the park first. The air was cold, crisp, dew-kissed grass under my foot. I spotted a few passers by as most of them were inside on this Saturday morning. I joined a light walk session, swinging arms to get the heart pumping. Felt that familiar endorphin rush, perfect for cardiovascular health.
Back home by 11.30, showered, and dove into content writing. Polished a blog draft for my upcoming blogging campaign, wrote about that memorable trip that deserves more love. I am willing to add affiliate links for affiliate income so searched couple of websites but all I got was Amazon which I feel is no help for Indians.
I remember my last visit to Zudio the casual wear, who was interested but had no solid ideas, so I dropped it. I worked on a short story snippet too, inspired by a local visit last week.
Noon: Hustle and Local Vibes
Lunchtime hit around 1 after wrapping morning edits. Lunch was simple, Makka (corn flour) Parantha with moong dal and spinach combined and butter filled up with a hearty thali of dal, parnatha.

Researched social issues for my next post community development in Modipuram, like better parks for kids. Brainstormed infographics using my phone apps, embedding Samsung camera pics from older nature walk. Checked a video clip of a park near my Canberra home, ducks gliding, perfect for my channel.
Checked WhatsApp for family messages and scrolled Pexels for photography contests. By 1.45 PM, I felt energized, ready for the day.
Then I headed to a nearby mall picked up trendy sweater for upcoming family events and tees, a neighbors grandkid birthdays soon. Good there is no bargained in this market because I am no good at that.

I tried a quick jeans for myself event and a sweater. Crowds? No crow on this chilli afternoon so all went swiftly. Spotting the perfect denim rack, I lunged, only to trip over a rogue trolley piled with sneakers. I grabbed the rack for balance, huh, old age blues I guess, Disaster! The entire display jeans flying everywhere but the staff is cool so nothing happened.
There were no shoppers so embarrassment but then one burst into laughter. A burly teenager yelled, "Uncle, fashion avalanche!" The store attendant rushed over, and helped fallen pants put back in place. That Kid pointed and giggled out phone for Instagram Reel I guess. I felt mortified but cracking up, I helped restock, thanks god, there is no "Clumsy Customer of the Day" badge sticker here in India.
Stalls outside for fresh veggies, so got shiny and ripe tomatoes and other vegetables for dinner. The evening sun felt good under Modipuram's winter skies.
Back by 4 PM, took a 20-minute power nap to recharge, then prepped a media kit for upcoming SC03 curation. Pitched to a couple of local outlets via email, highlighting my travel blogs and story analytics.
By 5.30 PM, squeezed in a quick visit to the nearby milk shop. On my return my thoughts reflected on gratitude amid life's chaos. Chatted with wife about coming family functions, got inspired for a feel-good movie night idea. Evening flew by productively, blending work, wellness, and wanderlust. Feeling grounded.

Evening: Wind Down with Creativity
Sun dipped low by 5:30 PM, so I laced up for an evening stroll in the green spaces near home. Observed squirrels darting, couples chatting, pure cold magic. No bees, no insects not even mosquitoes then I stopped at a roadside and watched people enjoying the local chat and their faces reflected its tangy kick spot-on.

Home by 6:30, unwound with breathing exercises again, easing into the evening. I shared an image on Sony India, entered a quick contest, who knows I win again even if my last win was a decade ago.
Then I reviewed scooter docs, my lost RC submitted for reissue, insurance up to date, pollution certificate up to date, all good.

7 pm a call from my brother. He told me about something which I was expecting the least. It was bad news which put me in double mind. Go or not to go but I will think over it. You know some strained relations which make you undecided.

8 pm dinner preparation going on, fried brinjal with roti and jaggery. I ate while watching news on my TV, same Iran-US conflict on all channels. I switched off TV for blog inspire with a neighbor who dropped in for a hello. Post-dinner, I settled into blogging mode even though news my brother shared was bothering me.
I thought about creative writing, finished all what I did today as I have a plan to write a rare diary post after a long time. So, I am tweaking the incidents for better impact.
By 9 PM, video call from my brother in law, shared about children's performances and local gossip. All good, highlights grateful for the balance of work and walks.
I have nothing much to do so I am completing my diary, scrolled through the memories, planned tomorrow's SC03 work but it will be @adeljose who takes the first day for curation.
10:30 PM, heart full, mind buzzing with ideas. Another day weaving content, culture, and calm in my mind yet it ended with something unexpected which left me thinking. Time to check websites and then to the bed.
