Today was a day filled with togetherness and blessings for us in Gampong Blang. Since morning, the atmosphere at Dayah Khairul Huda was bustling with preparations for the Maulid celebrations. The youth, committee members, and local residents gathered to ensure everything ran smoothly. I was also present, not only as a participant but also as part of the team helping to ensure the success of this major event.

The Maulid celebration is always a highly anticipated event for the community. Besides expressing love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), this event also strengthens ties among residents and fosters a warm sense of togetherness. When I arrived at the Dayah, several young men had already set up tents, laid out tables, and prepared a reception area for guests. I immediately joined in, helping in any way I could.

We worked together with great enthusiasm. Some prepared the food, from rice to drinks, for the guests attending the event. Others arranged seating, while others welcomed guests from various surrounding villages. It was not uncommon to hear jokes among the young men, making the work atmosphere more enjoyable despite the busy schedule.

As the Maulid (Mawlid) celebration began, the recitation of prayers (sholawat) echoed throughout the area, creating a peaceful atmosphere that is difficult to describe in words. The guests in attendance were enthusiastic. I joined in the reverence, feeling grateful to be a part of this event filled with the value of togetherness. After the prayers and sermon were finished, the food began to be served. I returned to my duties of helping distribute food to the guests and ensuring everyone was well-served.

Although the activities were quite busy from morning to evening, the fatigue seemed to be offset by the joy of seeing the event run smoothly. The guests left satisfied, the committee felt relieved, and we young people felt proud for having carried out our mandate well. Moments like these taught me the meaning of mutual cooperation, togetherness, and sincerity in doing good.

When the event was over and the Dayah area began to quiet down, I returned home with a warm heart. It felt wonderful not only because the event was a success, but also because I was able to contribute, even if only in a small way. Today I was once again reminded that togetherness is the greatest strength in every activity in my beloved hometown.
