Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, BRTC Bus Terminal - Bogura
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope you are all well. I am also, Alhamdulillah, doing very well by the infinite mercy of Allah. Today I will talk to you about a place, which is the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation office. Additionally, it is a BRTC bus station approved in Bangladesh. This is located in Bogura district, in the northern part of Bangladesh. This place is situated in the middle of the city.

This is the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, commonly referred to as BRTC in Bangladesh. It is approved by the Bangladesh government and operates according to government regulations. According to Bangladesh's road standards, and considering the many passengers and transportation services, BRTC ensures the safety of passengers and provides training for drivers. All the training they receive is government-approved, they have their own training centers, and through these, they play a significant role in providing passenger services.
Main Activities
- Passenger Transport: Buses operate from Bogura Depot to various parts of the country, such as Jashore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, and Rajshahi, among other routes, including air-conditioned (AC) buses.
- Training Center: There is a BRTC training center in Bogura, where drivers are trained, helping to enhance professionalism in the transportation sector of this region.
- Profitable Depot: Despite having a limited number of buses, Bogura Depot has gained a reputation as a profitable and reliable depot due to improving passenger service quality and growing passenger demand.
This center is very famous and a well-promoted institution, and through it, one can easily travel to far-off places with a ticket. It is located in a place that is one of the most important spots in our Bogura city, near Satmatha. Anyone staying here can easily recognize and see this place right in front of their eyes. When you come here, you will notice a large gate has been opened. And through this gate, not only people but even vehicles, including BRTC buses, can move.
Another advantage here is that if you want to come here, that is, when you arrive at this station, your security will fall under their management. There are service arrangements for passengers here, separate areas and separate rooms where they can sit, have tea and snacks, and watch television. Not only that, there is a public toilet and a washroom here. The only thing that is unpleasant is that for the public toilet, people have to pay money.

I liked the management here; it is clean and tidy. The staff working here are given salaries and allowances by the government. Arrangements have been made for prayer for the staff and employees, and a mosque has been provided. Additionally, there are clean surroundings with trees and flowers all around. There is also a separate parking arrangement for those who come with bikes or small vehicles.

Now let's get to the main attraction: our Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, or BRTC. What services their buses provide, from where to where they travel, and how much money is being charged. This is actually important, but as far as it can be understood, compared to other private transport services, they provide somewhat better service. Overall, they offer the best service, and in every aspect, their service is very good.

Overall , I liked it; it was clean and the service was good. However, there were two things I didn't like because I have experience commuting in this vehicle. First, they charge people who use the toilet, which is probably not from the government but rather the authorities here benefiting from it. Second, these vehicles don't accelerate too much; they go slowly, so you need to be a bit lenient about the timing.
