A trip to Peschiera del Garda!!
You know very well how much I love Lake Garda, so today I want to take you to a place that in my opinion is worth visiting not only on Valentine's Day but all year round: Peschiera del Garda, and that's what I practically did on Sunday, taking advantage of the beautiful, finally warm day that we had right here on Lake Garda.
It didn't take me long to get here, also because it is really close to Desenzano sul Garda and there is also the train station here. So you can get there comfortably by train and this is truly a great service. I took a tour where there are the officers' pavilions. You should know that Peschiera del Garda has been included in the UNESCO sites for several years precisely because it was a military citadel during the Habsburg Empire which had its borders here, and therefore it is very nice to take a walk through the streets of this city precisely because you go back in time and you can do this completely free of charge.
I love going there at this time of year, precisely because the temperature is excellent, in fact I have to tell you the truth, I even put on short sleeves because the temperatures were touching 16 degrees and it is truly unusual for the period but it is very beautiful because this way you can tour this place in peace, because if you come in the summer here there is a bit of chaos due to too much tourism that is present in the area.
Actually, I stayed there for a while because there were not many people, in reality they didn't organize many things also considering that it was the Valentine's period, probably people went somewhere else too, Anyway, I hope that my photos were appreciated.
