Andalo in winter - Italy
Today I will tell you about another place I saw during my Christmas holidays, a place I usually visit in the summer because I honestly like the mountains more in the summer when the weather is nicer to go walking.
I honestly don't mind Andalo in the winter, precisely because this village which is located between the Brenta Dolomites, a little jewel at about 1040 meters above sea level, has beautiful ski slopes but also the center is very beautiful with these decorations that transform everything into a fairy tale.
what strikes you when you arrive is the fact that you practically immediately understand that you are in an area where there is a bear, because right next to the town hall there is this statue with the words "Comune di Andalo" written on it, made in 2006 precisely because in this area there is a difficult coexistence between man and this important animal which is somehow preserved.
Then I also found a park where there were all sorts of decorations, some very romantic ones like this heart you see in the photo made of stones, I think they come from the mountains nearby.
still in the main square, a nativity scene was set up, quite large and very beautiful I must say.
What strikes me about these places is that there is no shortage of accommodation options, even family friendly ones, with packages that include both food and wine dinners in these places but also access to the slopes that are right nearby, and I think it's a very smart thing to be able to welcome numerous tourists from all over the world.
I hope to return in the summer. Anyway, thank you for reading this post.
