Molveno is really beautiful!!
As my last stop on this mini holiday in Trentino, I passed through Molveno, a small town of about 1000 inhabitants located on the shores of the lake of the same name, right near the Brenta Dolomites. It is a very touristy place, but in reality I didn't find it as chaotic as other places in Trentino.
Here too, there were some very cute and truly unique Christmas decorations, but I must say they were very creative and suited the mountain setting perfectly. So I took the opportunity to take a few photos to keep as souvenirs.
Molveno has been receiving certifications for its tourist excellence for about 10 years. Also because in these parts I must say that they really take great care of the natural part and try to preserve it over time. Here we are not very high in altitude but the temperatures are quite cold especially in winter. That's why there are also many bars where you can take refuge and sip something hot.
Maybe I'll go back this summer, when the temperatures will be more pleasant, also because I would like to do some excursions not only on foot but also by mountain bike and around here there are several very interesting and very beautiful routes to do.
To give you some tourist information, to get here you have to take the A22 motorway, exiting more or less at Trento Nord or San Michele and then there are 25 km of normal road to do and you reach the location very quickly, while as regards public transport, there are actually buses from Trento to Mezzocorona. But of course the journey is much slower and much more uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this location is not reached by train even if Trentino is famous for its private line that reaches most of these locations.
I hope my photos were interesting and you liked them. See you soon.
