Shaheb Babur Boithakkhana is one of the beautiful and natural view restaurants located outside Chittagong city in a coastal area. Due to its location in a traffic-free, extremely quiet, and secluded environment, it is a favorite among visitors. It is situated in the Kattali area, near the Faujdarhat Link Road. They provide their services daily from 10 AM to 11 PM.

This is a restaurant and a Boithakkhana (a Bengali word meaning a sitting place) at the same time. Visitors don't just come here to enjoy the restaurant's food; many also come to spend some quiet time in a peaceful environment. It is divided into two sections: one part is the restaurant where people enjoy food, and the other is the boithakkhana where people spend solitary time.

When you enter, you will see countless seating options of several types. The seats under the canopies are made of wood, while some of the indoor seats are made of steel. Several are characterized by foliage covering the top and some tissue cloth wrapped around them. There are separate seating arrangements for 2 to 8 people, where customers can choose their preferred spot.

As you can see from the pictures, there are different types of seating arrangements, which is why the word boithakkhana has been added to the restaurant's name. If you visit during the day, you will most likely prefer to sit in the open-air environment outside because the peaceful surroundings and cool breeze will give you a lot of joy.

You can also enjoy some other beautiful spots outdoors, as well as visit swings and specially made spots for couples. The swings are made of steel and have canopies, so rain won't fall on you. The area is covered with beautiful trees, and one spot is decorated like a tunnel with foliage.

These were the outdoor parts. Now, let's share some information about the interior environment of the Saheb Babur Boithakkhana restaurant. Customers can enjoy their ordered food at the outdoor seats, and if you book in advance through their service number, they also offer to customize the seats for you.

The interior environment of the restaurant is reasonably nice. You might find the outdoor area more appealing than the inside. However, for many customers, especially those who prefer to eat their lunch and dinner inside the restaurant, the environment will be quite enjoyable. It's not very big in size, but several people can sit together inside.

The beautiful ambient lighting inside and the unique setup of lights within cycle wheel rims on the ceiling can be quite appealing. Although there wasn't a lot of lighting, the natural light coming from outside brightened the entire room. The way the word "Food" was decorated on the wall with bicycles looked very nice.

In terms of food, they have created their menu targeting all types of customers. Their menu includes various set menus, fried chicken, soups, special salads, falooda, ice cream, chowmein, beverages, and different variants of dessert items. As a customer, I want to share my experience. I ordered two items: their special falooda and a chocolate-flavored milkshake. The food was presented shortly after ordering. To be honest, as a customer, I really liked the presentation of their food.

Both the falooda and the milkshake were served in a tall glass. To make it easy to eat from the glass, a long spoon was provided so that the food at the bottom of the glass could be eaten comfortably. The taste was quite good, and being cold, it was very enjoyable on a hot day.

Besides the food, the behavior of the restaurant staff was also very satisfying. They had a soft music system playing in the background, which customers might enjoy while eating. You can pay your food bill through online banking systems like bKash or Nagad. For that, you must go to the cash counter to make the payment. The cash counter was decent, though not very attractive.

The restaurant had all the facilities a customer might need. There was no air conditioning, and it wasn't necessary because the open-air environment nearby prevented it from getting too hot, and there were enough fans and cooling systems inside. There is a washroom inside; although it is not as modern as those in luxury restaurants, it was quite clean, and all arrangements for hand washing were in place.

A good thing about this place is that you can sit at their outdoor seating spots even without ordering food, but to stay for a long time, you must order food. The outdoor environment will be preferred by most customers over the inside because you can enjoy a very beautiful atmosphere while sitting there.

Shaheb Babur Boithakkhana is somewhat different and unique from other restaurants. Its special seating systems make it a top choice among various customers. Being located on the coast, you can always enjoy the surrounding breeze. With no sound of commotion and a peaceful environment, it is a suitable place to sit in solitude and spend some quiet time.
