My new year travel experience.

Travel Gone Wrong, but I survived. This is about me traveling to the wrong destination. For the first time in my life, I allowed myself to be taken to the wrong destination because I fell asleep.

I'm from Nasarawa State, where there is a place called Nasarawa Toto, and Nasarawa Eggon. These two places are different from each other but are all under Nasarawa State. From Abuja, I entered a vehicle and stopped at Maraba so I could get a motor to Nasarawa Toto, as it is my final destination.

From Maraba, I told the driver that I am going to Nasarawa Toto, which he agreed to and said that he would stop me at Keffi and put me in a vehicle that is going to my destination. While inside the vehicle, at first I was busy pressing my phone, and suddenly I fell asleep without knowing when I passed Keffi, which I was supposed to stop.

The driver forgot and thought that my destination was Nasarawa Eggon, which is closer to Lafia. He carried me and stopped at Nasarawa Eggon and I became stranded at the place. I was confused and angry with myself over my mistakes, and thank God that the driver supported me with money to go back to Keffi.

My only happiness was that it wasn't too late; it was around the afternoon. If not, I would have ended up spending my money in Nasarawa Eggon, looking for something to eat and where I could spend the night.
