The Journey I Almost Didn’t Take

The day I traveled home, I first imagined myself behind the wheel, cruising along a winding country road surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

Before my journey, the sun started shining brightly, casting a warm golden glow over rolling hills and lush green. I began feeling happy when the vehicle started moving.

Oh, at some point, I felt like someone who would miss the town, like someone who wouldn't be returning so soon because of my plans and what I intend to do in life. At that moment, I realised that life isn't always a bed of roses.

To make myself feel happy, I bought my favorite biscuits and a soft drink because I was almost out of energy. The energy that was in me was almost running to zero but what I ate brought back the energy.

While on the journey, the driver, pass a beautiful charming small towns with quaint houses and welcoming cafes. The air is filled with the scent of fresh pine and blooming wildflowers. Normally, I stop at scenic viewpoints to take panoramic vistas, capturing memories of my journey.
