We all are chasing inspiration and whether we decide to let it be or to make something of it it’s up to us. After this amazing trip, I want a sat down and wrote a letter to everyone who is calling this country home. I had 10 days to know the peoples of northern areas and to see the beauty of this land and I could not be more heartbroken right now every single day was a new day filled with unexpected experiences and moments I will never forget the only and true thing I want a say is thank you you taught me the biggest lesson of my life we as human have to stand together.

Our time in northern areas was memorable and it took all our energy away but I feel like it was kind of needed, thank you for the kind, generous and truly welcoming and amazing hospitality, and thank you for protecting us when we never asked for it and most importantly thank you to the people of Gilgit Baltistan for their overwhelming hospitality and amazing foods, and we just wanna say there is no reason not to come into Pakistan.

Pakistan has been portrayed as a bad country with bad people with terrorists and all these things but this is far away from reality and the reality is something else which you will experience when you visit Pakistan.

Why you should visit Skardu

Skardu is basically the gateway to all the other attractions and places all across Baltistan which is part of Gilgit Baltistan this is the place where you come if you want to access K2 the world 2nd largest mountain and the world 2nd highest plateau Deosai plains and even the Nanga Parbat. There are two ways to go to Skardu from the rest of Pakistan fly from Islamabad to Skardu or take the road if you choose the road then you also can see the beauty of Kaghan and Naran valley and also some mesmerizing scenery, then you get to drive along the part of the Karakoram highway probably the most scenic road and then you turn off to the tiny little road and after 10 hrs you might get to Skardu.

Comparison between Hunza and Skardu

Skardu is not at all like Hunza in Hunza you have got the one big road the Karakoram highway that directs all traffic in a singular direction in Skardu there is no such road.

Manthoka waterfall it is a good couple of our you will spend to reach manthoka waterfall the road is really quite bumpy and the drive will be slow but it is so scenic and when you arrive at manthoka waterfall it is very pretty and you can have lunch there and you can have some trout fish there, from manthoka waterfall you would back to Skardu along these bumpy but very scenic road and the way you must stop on the cold desert this place isn’t actual desert with sand and sand Junes and all that jazz and with all that it is not in anywhere in the south Asia country it is actually in elevation of a couple of thousand meters above se level in the middle of the Karakoram mountains landscape like this are normally you see in the fantasy drawing and fantasy films.

And also you can visit the religiously important the buddha rock, and when you visit the Desai plains you will be amazed by the beauty of these plains, also called the land of giants, so peaceful place to visit and stay, people should visit Skardu because many people know there is many tourist attraction in northern areas are suffering from over-tourism especially the Skardu neighbouring Hunza, Skardu might be a slightly more difficult to reach but you will see the place that is so beautiful, so mind-blowingly epic and doing something good to Pakistan tourism you should visit Skardu.
