Fishing off the little dock

This was a few years ago, I decided to go fishing at this little dock in the harbor that is now closed. It was loaded with calico bass. The scenery here is just beautiful. I used to love fishing here because it was so easy to catch calico bass and other fish.

Typically I use a fly lining rig with some type of bait like mackerel and squid, and drop it down by the pile-ons and wait for a big bite. Fishing here is always good. This place is located in Redondo beach, California but it is closed now.

The dock used to be where the fishing charter used to launch from and there used to be a bait shop there and a restaurant. Used to be a cool little attraction. I'm sad they shut it down though because it was a really nice fishing spot and I used to love going there.
